Self Catering Holiday Cottage in Flushing, Cornwall
2010 Dates now available
Be sure to look at the extended Christmas week!!
Dolphin Cottage is a former fisherman's cottage in the waterside village of Flushing, across the water from the busy maritime town of Falmouth. Flushing is reputed to have the mildest climate in the country! The Cottage is located just a few hundred yards from the slipway and quay.
Dolphin Cottage sleeps up to 6 people. It has a comfortably furnished sitting room with a traditional open fire. There is a well equipped kitchen diner which includes a washing machine. Upstairs, the double bedroom has an en suite bathroom. A Shower room is located on the ground floor. There are two further bedrooms - a large twin room and a bunk room, both looking out over the village street. From the pretty terraced garden you can see glimpses of the sea and a lovely view over the rooftops of the quaint village. There is a fenced, decked area complete with arbour and a further patio on the higher terrace. (please take care as some steps are quite steep.)
In the village there is a bar/bistro, a further Pub - The Seven Stars and a lovely quay side restaurant - The Sticky Prawn, which was awarded the Remy Martin South West Restaurant of the Year.
There are numerous pretty walks to find in the locality, including around the headland to the lovely village of Mylor, and of course our own flushing Beach.

"We had a lovely week staying at Dolphin Cottage. The cottage was lovely - very clean and full of 'olde worlde' charm. Have booked to go again!! The village was delightful, the locals very welcoming. There was lots to do in the local area and we took some very nice photographs of the stunning views. Would highly recommend a meal at Pandora Inn at Restronguet."
